Service Description: |
Family Support Services: Provides support and assistance to families who have a child between 3 and 14 years of age who exhibits significant delays in two or more areas of development; i.e. intellectual, psychological, social or motor Children's Family Home: Provides children who have a developmental disability with full-time or part-time accommodation in a home as close as possible to natural family living * provides parents of children who have a developmental disability with alternative living arrangements that maintain close family contact and allow the child to live within a family environment Transitional Youth Services: Provides support to participants between 15 and 28 years of age in a range of activities including employment, education, volunteerism, recreation, leisure and daily living as well as the opportunity for youth to gain vital knowledge to make good decisions through a person-directed planning process which could include Transition Planning |
