Service Description: Supports for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible * referral to other community services
 
Canada Volunteer Income Tax Preparation Volunteers trained by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency assist individuals with low incomes  to complete their income tax returns in the spring of each year * current year's returns only
 
Coe Hill Office Foot care clinics are held at this location.  This location can be used to meet other health care providers if booked ahead. 
 
Crisis Intervention and Assistance Intervention and supports for people facing homelessness, critical life changes, abuse, or isolation * referrals to other community support services as necessary
 
Foot Fix - Foot Care Clinic and In-Home Basic and advanced medical foot care provided by Registered Nurse at Foot Fix in Bancroft, Coe Hill office location, monthly community clinics in Maynooth. monthly clinics at senior housing buildings or in the client’s home * includes care of corns, calluses, fungal nails, filing and trimming of nails. Vascular foot issues and diabetic foot issues screened and cared for at clinic. Our nurses work with local chiropodist for further advanced care. Our clinic does not do wound care. 
 
Form Completion Assistance Human Resources Development Canada forms are made available and assistance completing them, including Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Canada Pension Plan Disability * forms can be picked up at Community Care North Hastings offices in Bancroft and Coe Hill
 
Home Help Assistance with daily chores, such as laundry, light housekeeping, pet care, errands, shopping, and meal preparation * service is offered weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or seasonally * seasonal housekeeping such as grass cutting, snow removal, minor home maintenance, dump runs, piling firewood and gardening
 
Meals On Wheels - Hot and Frozen Hot and frozen meals
 
Security Reassurance Clients receive a friendly call from a volunteer each weekday * callers have the client's safety and security in mind
 
Volunteer Drivers Non-emergency, non-accessible transportation to Bancroft and out of town medical appointments and regular activities such as grocery shopping and banking * confidential door-to-door service provided by specially trained volunteers.  Wheelchair access transportation available thru our community partner, BCT. Call our office to book.
