Service Description: Child and Youth team provides a range of holistic health programs, projects, volunteer opportunities, events, and workshops for children ages 6-12 and youth ages 13-24.

Program staff and volunteers share information, support and resources that will help children and youth make healthy lifestyle choices. Through group discussions, informal counselling, educational workshops, and access to our medical team (doctors, nurses, social workers and dietitians).
 
We will be offering the following programs for the Winter/Spring 2026 session:
 
  • GLTR - Girls Leadership Through Resilience: For female-identifying youth in high school, ages 13-18
  • Date: Every Monday [February 2nd – June 15th]
  • Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • D-Talks - Deep Talks: For male-identifying youth in high school, ages 13-18
  • Date: Every Monday [February 2nd – June 15th]
  • Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Homework Club: Homework help for children ages 6 to 12 provided by high school students aged 13-18. (Currently Full)                                                        
  • Date: Every Tuesday [January 20th - June 16th]             
  • Time: 4:30PM - 6:00PM
  • MSYL -  Mind & Spirit Youth Leadership: Youth committee for like-minded youth looking to develop and positively impact the community of Eglinton East
  • Date: Every Thursday [Mar 5th - June 18th]   
  • Time: 4:30PM - 6:00PM
