Service Description: School Health Support Services are available in Haliburton, Northumberland and City of Kawartha Lakes (formerly Victoria County).

Assess and coordinate access to professional health care services such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, dietetic and personal support services for children with special needs who require assistance in the school setting.
Fees: Covered by OHIP
Application: The referral process is initated by the teacher or prinicpal in the school.
Waiting Period - No waiting period to make a new referral. Waiting periods for direct service vary depending on type of service required and priority need.
