Service Description: Provides students the opportunity to gain research experience in a community hospital setting, working with researchers across many different disciplines

Each year, students are accepted into the SSRP with the goal of matching student qualifications to potential projects

An opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in a clinical setting. Students will be responsible for much of the research work on their own while having an Osler clinician as their supervisor

The program runs from May 8 to August with bi-weekly education sessions to advance knowledge in research related topics

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Students who have completed at least two years of post-secondary education, ideally in a health-related discipline with plans to return to school in the fall * Ability to work and travel between Osler sites - Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness * Excellent computer skills * Knowledge of research methodology, REB/regulatory bodies is an asset Knowledge of data analysis programs/software an asset
