Service Description:	Offers various employment and training services to Indigenous clients Funds training initiatives from various sponsors or for clients who require additional training to secure employment Offers practical career, employment, and individual counselling Provides funding for following initiatives: Mobility Assistance Pre-employment assistance Purchase of Training Program Self-employment assistance Offers financial assistance for: Course costs and materials (can include books, tuition etc) Income support (daycare and travel costs, training allowance) Living away from home allowances

Application:	Application and related forms available on website Individual required to research training opportunities Must provide labour market research to support training request Must provide letters of possible employment from potential employers To qualify for a Whitesand FN sponsored training program, individual must also provide: Updated resume Name of training provider/institution with contact name Training outline for the program Dates of program and number of hours per week Total cost of training including materials and taxes Letter of acceptance into program Completed Client Application form Completed Participant Information form Signed Employment Insurance (EI) Verification form Signed Client Consent form Copy of Status Card, Social Insurance Number and driver's license NOTE: Upon completion of the above requirements, applicant required to book an appointment with Program Manager
