Service Description:	Patients with moderate to severe hip and knee osteoarthritis can be assessed through the Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) * a specially trained team reviews patient needs and recommends surgical or non-surgical treatment options * For those not needing surgery at this time, information is provided on available resources, to support the patient in the community * for those requiring surgery there may be a wait time of several months to see a surgeon, prioritization is based on severity of injury Details about the Rapid Access Clinic (RAC): Appointment is booked within two business days of referral Patient is seen within two to four weeks The RAC will share assessment results with the primary care provider who referred the patient Appointments are 45 minutes long with arrival time 15 minutes before the appointment Wear shorts or loose-fitting pants, comfortable clothing and comfortable footwear Patient to bring a CD of most recent X-rays rays and a list of medications Location: Main entrance, leaf elevator South building, Second Level, Room S.2 666
