Service Description:

Nation-wide service created through a partnership between MedicAlert and the Alzheimer Society of Canada

if a person living with dementia goes missing, call 911 immediately
tracking device (or locating device) helps identify a person with dementia who is lost and assist them to safely return home
might also be appropriate for people with autism and developmental disabilities

Fees:

Besides the initial purchase cost, there might be monthly fees to keep the device active and operational

Application:

Call for information * professionals can refer patient by sending referral to First Link at Alzheimer Society Peel * other areas contact the appropriate Alzheimer Society chapter
