Service Description:

Community-based supports for people who are experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis and do not require a hospital stay * services include:

telephone crisis assessment, intervention, and support
in-person crisis counselling
short-term crisis stabilization bed stay
group counselling
drop-in peer support group

Call * accepts self-referrals and referrals from agencies, friends and family, shelters, hospitals, and other crisis services

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:

People 16 years and older who are having a mental health and/or substance use crisis and do not require a hospital stay * people who stay at the centre overnight must be able to physically care for themselves
