Service Description: Patients arriving with heart attacks arising from a blocked coronary artery are offered safe and effective care * these patients bypass the Emergency Department at Brampton Civic Hospital and go straight to BCH cardiac catheterization lab * cardiologists will use a balloon catheter and stent to quickly open the blocked artery

Patients at Etobicoke General are immediately directed to Brampton Civic Hospital
Fees: None - covered by OHIP
Application: Patients arriving at BCH and EGH with heart attack from blocked coronary artery are transferred directly to Cardiac Catheterization Lab at BCH
