Service Description: Physiotherapy clinic * health professionals assess and treat conditions that affect the muscles, nerves, and bones that may be caused by work or sports or motor vehicle collision injuries, chronic conditions, or to recover after an operation (hip and knee surgery) * consultation and ongoing treatment available * services include:
  • mobility
  • range of motion (ROM)
  • balance exercises
  • conditioning 
  • pain management rehabilitation
  • gait training
  • splinting
  • falls
  • burns
  • stroke
  • orthopedic rehabilitation
  • concussion management
  • post-total joint replacement
  • group classes offered for falls prevention

Fees: Hospital Funded $40 and CPC (Community Physio Clinic) (over 65, under 18, overnight hospital stay, ODSP, Ontario Works) covered by the government * Hospital Funded Day Program (Stroke Clients) $60 and Hospital Funded Falls Program $60 and EHB, WSIB funding also with private clinic (SportMed+)
Application: Medical referral required * medical referral may be required for third-party insurance
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People requiring physiotherapy services * OHIP coverage for those 19 years and under, 65 years and older, ODSP or Ontario Works recipients, and people hospitalized for at least one night due to an injury
