Service Description: Provide the tools that will help individuals with chronic lung diseases the ability to  improve quality of life and to live independently in the community *  provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory rehabilitation services
 
Enhanced Living Service A home like environment for individuals needing invasive mechanical ventilation with four apartments (two single and two double) to accommodate six current patients with issues requiring Chronic Assisted Ventilatory Care 
 
Home Ventilator Training Short-term complex medical management program for adults who need ventilators to breathe * care team trains patients and caregivers on use of ventilation in a home setting and how to handle emergency situations * follow-up reassessments provided regularly after discharge, followed by every 12 months * short-stay re-admission offered if necessary
 
Long-Term Ventilation Centre of Excellence Long-term complex medical management program for adults with respiratory failure requiring ventilatory support, and those at risk of developing respiratory failure
 
Long-term Ventilation Service 22-bed inpatient unit for people who require ongoing mechanical assistance to help them breathe for all or part of the day * help patients learn to plan and direct their own care, and possibly explore independent living * offer long-term residential care as well as slow stream rehabilitation (12 weeks to 2 year) for patients who are able to reintegrate into the community
 
Respiratory Complex Continuing Care 26-bed inpatient rehabilitation program for adults with complex respiratory disorders * designed for patients whose needs cannot be met in the community or a long-term care home * work with patients to create an individualized care plan, which may include Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) support
 
Respiratory Day Program Hospital-based outpatient day program for adults with chronic lung disease * supervised exercise program focusing on cardiovascular fitness, upper and lower limb strength, endurance training, energy conversation, relaxation training, and breathing control techniques * care team educates patients about their disease and their medication, and how to manage daily activities and independent living in the community
 
Respiratory Evaluation Services and Sleep Lab Offers sleep studies, pulmonary function and respiratory exercise testing * tests include identifying whether patients require oxygen at night to complete respiratory polysomnographic studies to assess sleep disorders
 
Respiratory Rehabilitation Service Inpatient rehabilitation program for adults with chronic lung disease * provide education, planning, coping skills, and a supervised exercise program that includes breathing control techniques
 
Transitional Home Ventilation Short-term complex medical management program to help patients requiring ventilation to breathe reintegrate into the community from acute care * provide rehabilitation, training, and education
 
Tuberculosis Service Short-term rehabilitation program for people with complex tuberculosis (TB) and other mycobacterial infections * core services provided by a respirologist, attending physician, nurse practitioner, nursing staff, recreation therapist, clinical pharmacist, and clinical care coordinator * patients are discharged when they are no longer infectious or a risk to family and others
 
Tuberculosis Service (Progression and Maintenance) Designated treatment centre for difficult-to-treat cases of tuberculosis (TB) and other mycobacterial infection * service to both in-patients and outpatients
