Service Description:

Provides social and recreational activities in a safe, stimulating and encouraging environment * the programs provide assistance with maintaining the highest possible degree of independence and enhanced quality of life * volunteer opportunities available

Programs and services:

adult day services for clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and/or other cognitive impairments (Circle of Friends)
adult day services for clients with physical disabilities, mild cognitive impairments and/or frail health (The Gathering Place)
recreation centre for older adults
daily specialized exercise programs including falls prevention program (offered by Lifemark)
restorative care (therapeutic programs designed to help clients achieve maximum functioning and maintain independence including on to one exercise)
one-to-one programs for clients with aphasia
dental hygiene services (DirectSmiles)
bathing services for adults with cognitive impairments, physical disabilities and/or frail health (offered in partnership with Peel Senior Link)
educational sessions provided by professionals in various fields to enhance knowledge of illness, medications, and other topics such as fraud and home safety
monthly caregiver info session
specialized programs for adults with moderate to severe dementia

Program daily fees of $23 to partially cover the cost of the service
